The compressor's primary function is to circulate the refrigerant throughout the system and create the pressure differences necessary for heat absorption and rejection, which ultimately leads to ice production.Therefore, the performance, efficiency, and reliability of the compressor directly determine the ice-making capacity, speed, and energy consumption of the entire ice maker.
